Aine Duffy “Irish singer rocker tipped for the top" Aine grew up in west Cork Ireland. Where she played her first gig at the age of 15,accompanied by her brother on Bodhran. With such a large, unique vocal range and undeniable personality, she drew crowds. This was all so ironic as she was born with a cleft palate and doctors were not sure if she would ever speak properly, let alone sing so strong and powerful! When she finished school she went to study music, music management and sound, furthering her knowledge. Her guitar playing is great and highly original, when playing live it fits her so comfortable and moves gracefully with her on stage! From there on she played all over the world, building a strong runway securing a steady take off! She has a following from LA to Belgium, Spain to Dubai etc. In LA she met with many a successful musician, and jammed and played with the best in many a great venue. "Energetic live performances, acrobatic and controlled vocals, irrepressible presence" Aine is always in the throes of creative passion, penning new songs with captivating emotion and soul stirring rhythm. As with her previously recorded tracks, evoking something mystical and magical deep within from all the countries she has traveled to learning rhythms styles and gaining inspiration, she first traveled alone when she was just 11 years old! She is currently recording them in NYC with Roger Greenawalt(Ben Kweller, the pierces, Julian vellard, Rufus Wainright, Sophie B Hawkins, Bruce Springsteen etc) and playing shows full with excited people! “Her ambitions have grown considerably since then and this gig proved to be a very enjoyable warm up gig for her before she sets off to the States again!
