This new and inspiring artist was born on October 30, 1990. At only 16, she is rapidly becoming one of the most sought out voices in the singer/songwriter genre. Starting to sing and write at the age of 8 she quickly realized her passion for music and began performing at every chance she could get. Her love and respect for music grew into an obsession.
She began playing an array of instruments which included the Electric Bass and Violin in her brothers band. She then picked up her her brother's acoustic guitar and learned some basic cords. A year later the band rearranged their members and she removed herself from the project.
With influences from every genre which include Fiona Apple, Tori Amos, Alice in Chains and Bob Dylan, she started to focus on her own music and style. When she was only 13 she wrote her first acoustic song. She started to play at open mics and got raves for her mature lyrics and soulful and haunting vocals. Her depth as a songwriter and her knack for catchy melodies continue to grow and impress.
For the last few years she has been writing constantly. In June of '06 she went into the studio and recorded a 6 song demo.
She is currently a member of the New York City Singer/ Songwriter Club and is a regular at the Bitter End in NYC. Her voice is featured on the "Career Pathways" PBS special theme song
