Reminds me of".. Early Stones/J.Geils or Stones/Tom Petty etc... are some of the responses from fans and peers alike in response to the newly minted 2 song promo sampler from the Gregg Danton Band. The band doesn't mind it a bit...they don't even mind being pidgeoned holed as a "Classic Rock/Blues Rock" hybrid! As long as people "get it" says the bands namesake- a multi-instrumentalist /singer/songwriter with a track record of note. The shortlist of Canadian based talent he's shared the stage and studio with : Harlequin,Frank Soda,Goddo,Paul James and even Long John Baldry himself are a testament to the highpoints on the road from obscurity! The Gregg Danton Band strives to stay true to the Classic Rockin Blues sound that first inspired them, while forging ahead with a groove based original sound!

on guitar slide and eletric bass drums however the weak points were vocals and harmonica . use a little more time on vocals durnig the recording and try some easily available support tech box it will definatly help overall a great job enjoyable music in general a really good basis just need to fine tune a bit . being a harp player myself and a bass player i would ask the person playing harp to consider a different key like Ab and work the 2 thru 6 notes it gives it a better feel to me .
