Pipapelli is from Western North Carolina. We play Rockin' Blues with a Celtic-Knotted Twist. Many of the tunes are driven by the Great Highland Bagpipes run thru a wah wah peddle, creating the original " Western Carolina Wah-Pyps".
We play tunes from Robert Johnson to the Blues Bros to Led Zeppelin with many eclectic journeys in between, primarily focusing on originals. Besides bagpipes, other "lead" instruments incorporated are electric and acoustic guitars, Native American Love Flutes, and some other surprises.
We play festivals, gatherings, street parties, that kind of thing. Benefits are great! We love to give back to the community. Pipapelli has been around for over 5 years, a couple years ago "This Picture's Over" from our "Borderguard" release, made it to the Number One spot on www.newartistradio.net.

Pipapelli is rowdy, raucous and raw! They combine two of my favorite things- garage rock and bagpipes. Upon first listen, I was suddenly thirsty for beer and wanted to start swinging from the rafters. I would love to see this band live. Loved the lyrics on track one and loved the harsh, rawness of the pipes. Scotland forever!
