Hello, I'm Birdo. This whole thing came about rather quickly. I went to LA with my freind, while there, I was exposed to music creation software. I was blown away! Not more than three weeks later, another friend and I went on a trip that had a profound affect on me. I'm not sure if it's ok to mention store names, so I won't, but let me tell you when we walked through those doors I was completely blown away! That night I bought that music creation software, soft synth programs, slave keyboard and some other goodies. Within two months I had purchased over $15,000 worth of equipment! Thank God for charge cards! I wasted no time learning how to use all my new toys and programs. I actually had to teach myself how to play the keyboard. I worked hard and overcame many obstacles including 1 smoked synth, 1 fried pc, three blown speakers, and alot more grey hairs. With that said, I have learned every aspect of music recording, mixing, mastering down to the final cd with graphics. When all the dust settled, I had completed 5 songs. I have always been taunted by songs in my head, but had no way to get them out....until now. To anyone who doubts my talent due to lack of experience, I say, listen to my music! Listen and enjoy!
Hi Folks, I would like to give you some information about my CD. Its called Music United which is the second song. It is a solo work and is all Hard and Soft Synth based. The first song, Race To Freedom was made completely with loops, samples, and software instruments. The rest was recorded live using four Synths, and four softsynths. I do not know how to read music so everything is played from memory. Anyway, Race To Freedom is a very exciting song many think should be in a movie. Music United was hard as hell but well worth the effort. Its a trip around the world with music. From the US you go to the Middle East, then Asia, Africa, South America then back to the States. This song is 21 tracks thick! Towards the end it was getting hard for my pc! The next song Under Direct Orders is also something you would here in a movie but the sound is really flat due to a hiss problem that has been corected, unfortunatly it affected all files. I put it on the demo anyway because it is an emotional song. Orbital Thoughts....a break from the norm for Birdo. I want folks to know I can also make other music as well, and its really cool! The last song is called Passionate Encounters. I love this song. I love it because I hear myself getting better. It makes me wonder what my music will sound like a year down the road.

this is really cool stuff, love the sounds your creating. I would love to hear the reat of your songs in whole as this site does not allow you to listen to the whole song, bummer.
As I was listining to "Race to Freedom" I could picture a scene in which that was happening to a young soldier escaping from the prison camps.
Your music is truly immersivful, keep it up. See you at the Orpheum some day!
