My name is Ed Spaunhorst. I am 14, almost 15 years old. I have loved music all of my life. I spend most of time writing and recording music. My favorite thing to do in the world is write. Writing songs can be frustrating, but at the same time, can be very rewarding. My favorite bands are Taking Back Sunday, Blink 182, Angels and Airwaves, Say Anything.... I play the guitar, write songs, and sing. What I want most is just to get discovered. My favorite song of my own is probably "When You Come Home". I love this song because i wrote it for my dad, who is currently in Iraq for the Army. This song is done completely acoustic and sounds beautiful.

Every once in a while you hear something that blows you away. These tracks are not technically great but they are the most honest, heartfelt and touching songs I've heard in a while. Perhaps it's the unjaded innocence of youth or the low-fi stripped down sound quality. If When You Come Home had've gone on for 20 seconds longer I would have been bawling. Keep it up Ed Spaunhorst. Never stop putting your feelings to music and I hope your Dad gets home safe and soon.
