A rapper that at times is more of a "force of nature" than an entertainer, Fortunate delivers his heartfelt lyrics and musical prowess with an eye-catching, hyped and energetic stage presence. His constant motion, forays into the crowds and interplay with his musicians can make for a very dynamic show as displayed in Elizabeth, NJ, when he opened for Ruff Ryders performing his thought-provoking ’A LOST SOUL’ which begin a media frenzy that left the audience and fans wanting more from this young artist who had obviously "found" his way home. Born Melvin Brown in Orange County, Fortunate honed his skills performing late night at local cafes. At the age of 17, he would join the R & B band, WCTP: We Come to Play. His popularity grew as he began to entertain at larger venues and nightclubs and through key appearances on the fair circuit. Those years finely tuned Fortunate’s lyrical voice and personality, further developing his showmanship resulting in a never-ending quest for recognition amongst his peers and the music industry. Poised for the success, Fortunate songs have found an audience.., and a label. When I Ride, Bomb on’em and Back in the Day and are only a few songs that have captured the soul and imagination of Edwin Ramos of BIGTIME! Entertainment.Having worked closely as an engineer, producer and arranger for such artists as Mary J. Blige and Angie Stone, Edwin and has signed Fortunate to his newly formed label and is positioning Fortunate through a series of industry showcases before the very peers he’s searched for all his musical life. When asked what motivated him to have continued his quest, against all odds, to this prophetic moment in time, Fortunate had this to say. "God gave me this gift; not to keep to myself, but to reach all nationalities, spiritually. I believe in God, and I believe He walks with me and gives me the drive to express myself in the truest form through my music. And when I feel like giving up, He reminds me, by giving me another vision of a song to write. Without God in my life, I am just an empty shell." Whatever’s in store for this debut artist, might be in God’s hands, ultimately, but you can bet He’ll have more than a little help from hard-working, ever-creating, Fortunate: an artist with a mission. https://www.burnlounge.com/fortunate TO contact FORTUNATE directly, email him at 2face@email.com/also at BET.COM-CLICK ON MUSIC,THEN CLICK ON YA HEARD.HIS SONG MARGARITA IS ..1 ON THE CHARTS AT WWW.BET.COM ON BET YA HEARD.also added is 2face@indiemail.com/imfortunate2007@yahoo.com
