Second To None

"Second to none's Punk Music and Bio" Spawned from the depths of the Alamo City punk scene, SECOND TO NONE is a well-oiled rock n roll machine built Texas Tough. After meeting randomly June 2006 at Jigger’s Rock Bar in San Antonio, Second To None busted down the doors of the local music scene with their aggressive, progressive punk rock style. If you like Social Distortion, but wish they were a little more metal, then you’ve got to see Second To None. The lineup includes Benny Contreras on vocals and bass, Anthony Bennett on vocals and guitar, Joe Cortez on lead guitar, and Yogi Rodriguez on drums. With a loyal fan base willing to follow them to the ends of the earth (or at least to Austin), Second To None combines working class hero lyrics with arena-worthy riffs; they are solid punk rock with melody. Second To None’s full length release “Wreck of Rock N Roll” is no exception, displaying a record full of rock at it’s finest. Stand out tracks “ Hard Fall” and “No Escape” show off their streetpunk roots, while songs like “Dead and Gone” and “Irish Girl” prove music you can dance to can still kick ass. Not totally preoccupied with world-wide rock star status, vocalist/guitarist Anthony Bennett says “I want us to be known as the best band San Antonio has to offer”. Vocalist/bassist Benny Contreras puts it even simpler, “We just wanna rock!”.

thats some of the best music i've heard in a while. Wish you had the whole track of realist up there. It ends right before what sounds like a solo. I like Dead and gone too your voice sounds way different. Well great job. I'd push Realist the most, that sounds like a hit.
