Born in an island where music is the spice of life Linval McKnight, AKA, Billiblade, grew up loving music. His father owned a disco in the early 70’s, but sold it before little blade was born. Nevertheless Billiblade inherit much more than the love of the music from his father. He inherited a talent for vocalizing as well. From as young as he can remember he was always at neighborhood birthday parties, dancing with the girls or without. He also liked to sneak out to attend local dancehalls around the community and began doing this at about age 8. As he grew it became apparent that music was to play an important role in his life. From his bathroom vocalizing sessions to singing with his friends on the street corner, to causing a riot while attending Wolmer’s Boys’ high. Where he and then classmate and friend, Wayne Mitchell aka Wayne Marshall during one lunch time hour, organized a lunchtime concert. Where Billiblade would emulate reggae/dancehalls artists such as Beenie man, Capleton and Spragga Benz and Wayne would always do his renditions of Bounty Killer songs. Billiblade grew up in the then quiet town of Portmore, Braeton Phase 3; where in late 1996 was terrorized with a rise of gang warfare and violence.
Billiblade started writing his own lyrics from a young age of 13.He has a true artitic talent of formulating and manipulating words to fit his style of vocalizing. He has a very creative and imaginative mind which aids him in creating catching hooks and hardcore lyrics. He migrated to the United states in December 1996 and later met a young talented producer,Christoper Nelson aka C.roc who was just in the midst of getting his production company off and running. C.Roc saw the talent that Blade had and began working with him. Spending endless nights in the studio recording, writing and everything else. With C.roc providing the killer beats and direction,Blade has surely blossomed into one of Reggae/Dancehalls most promising talent. With five years or more of recording blade surely has a versatile portfolio of hit tracks ranging from hardcore Reggae/Dancehall, to a mixture of R&B/Hip Hop. Blade is still recording and performing at local shows and now is just a matter of when, and not if, he will get his 'Big Break' This young Talent is a diamond mine waiting in the open lands to be discovered

I like a lot of what you are doing with these songs. The one that I liked the most was "Searchin." I like the traditional vibe that it had with it. Also the slower chorus really complements your fast singing style. I also like the Gangsta 4 Life track. It was more of a dance song that gives you a little more upbeat feel. It is away from traditional reggae, but was a good beat that will get people moving. Keep it up man, and hope to hear more from you in the future.
big up!
