"Sovern's Bio and Rock Music"

Eric and Garret have been playing together since seventh grade in Baytown, Texas. AJ Santana was stationed in Pasadena, Texas with the Army Reserves. Eric and Garrett were playing together in a band known as Kunan when AJ met them via myspace after the breakup of his former band, Detox. Eric was also in a band known as Soladora with Will in Katy, Texas. Shortly after the breakup of Kunan and Soladora, Eric brought all four musicians together and Sovern was formed. The members of Sovern won their first battle of the bands in February of 2007, which was only their second gig, hosted by Gorilla Productions. Shortly after victory the band hit the studio with Mike BBQ at Big Door studios, and recorded their first professional four song demo. During recording Mike was so impressed by the band and its potential, he said he couldn’t wait to see where the band went. The band demo consists of the songs; 1. Beckon, 2. Felt this way, 3. Find your peace, and 4. Hurt somebody. Sovern is taking the music business one step at a time. Our current ambition is to dominate Houston. We intend to get on the air with the 94.5 The Buzz. We are also determined to sign to a dedicated record label, that is, anyone who is interested in truly supporting music. Sovern takes music seriously and is looking forward to making it in their future.
