SLADE'S BIOGRAPHY... A hot new artist full of powerful lyrics that tell just some of the stories from Slade's unbelievable life! Born Grady Slade jr. in Washington, D.C., Slade's life was turned upside down from the start. He endured years of physical abuse and starvation from his mother and her boyfriends...being tied down to a bed and beaten to being punched in the mouth; his ear left hanging off his face. Things reached a climax at 6; Slade was beaten so badly with an extension cord, meat was ripped from his leg. The police found him in a bloody pool. Slade was taken to a mental hospital; his mother told them that he was crazy and that he did it to himself. There Slade was hog-tied and pumped full of Thorazine which made him into a walking mummy...this was only the beginning. For the next ten years, Slade went from group homes and foster care and every type of lock-up facility you could imagine. At 16 he was homeless in PA, where he slept in abandoned cars, on park benches and ate at soup kitchens. He could never forget being chilled to the bone on those cold nights or banging on the backdoor of the bakery for bread. Although down and out, he's always worked as hard as he could to survive. With this album, Slade puts it all on the line.

ALBUM RELEASE...Once again, Slade brings us an amazing hip-hop album with straight-forward, powerful lyrics that will entice any music listener. From the first song, "Let's Get Started," he draws a line in the sand and goes after artists who sell their soul to go platinum. He rips into America's racism with "Hated People." Why am I hated and despised, why can't you look me in my eyes? This song is sure to stand the test of time. "A Letter To The Churches" is a warning to the Christian community about its corruption, greed, division, and irresponsible leadership. "Rebel" shows that Slade is one of the world's greatest lyricist. This song will have you standing on your feet; your fist in the air. With "Revenge," Slade exposes his abused childhood and confronts those responsible. This song may bring tears to your eyes. If you've ever been used, kicked when you were down, and talked about by so-called friends, "Sheep's Clothing" is for you. "Snitch" may be one of the most brutal songs ever written. It's so blunt, there's no way you can mistake its meaning. Slade threatens informants and lashes out on so called gangsters that snitch. If you've ever been snitched on, you will love this song. Get ready for a powerful explosion. Slade is a lyrical king!
